Dieci fotografie narrano altrettante storie di vittoria contro la violenza domestica. Le immagini rappresentano, all'interno delle singole storie, gli oggetti attraverso i quali queste dieci donne sono riuscite a farsi forza e a denunciare ciò che stavano vivendo e a chiedere aiuto. Le fotografie sono stampate su cotone, e appese come se fossero biancheria ad asciugare al sole. La violenza domestica infatti si nutre dell'isolamento e dell'invisibilità delle vittime. Uscire, anche di poco, fuori dalla casa e chiedere aiuto è il primo passo per combattere la violenza contro le donne.
Ten pictures narrating the stories of ten women who fought domestic violence. The pictures represent the objects through which those women recalled the strength to report charges, or to ask for help. The pictures are printed on cotton and hanged on the walls as if they were wet laundry getting sun dried. Domestic violence is fed through isolation and invisibility. Getting out of the house and asking for help is the first step towards fighting violence against women.
The pictures have been generously donated to Telefono Rosa by Perlana.
